The location of this Thursday’s Town Hall Meeting (see below) has been changed. Due to the large response received, it has been moved to the Family Life Center at St. John Vianney Church. It is the two story building to the right behind the church. It is still 7 – 9 and please make sure to let everyone know and ask everyone to come! Thanks.
A town hall meeting on the Developmental Disabilities Waiting List Crises and Underfunding of Community Programs has been planned.
To date there are over 19,000 children and adults with developmental disabilities on the DDA Waiting List for Community Services. 20,000 people with developmental disabilities who currently receive services require quality and stable services that are insufficiently funded. Budget cuts effective October 1, 2009, directly impact people with developmental disabilities, their families and community programs.
